What is Cat® Connectivity?
Cat® Connectivity is an aftersales monitoring tool that allows Agg-Pro to receive performance insights regarding machines featuring a CAT engine.
It is essential for quarrying and recycling operations around the UK to minimise downtime. Our service team use Cat Product LinkTM Hardware and Cat Remote Fleet Vision to monitor engine performance and to provide both preventative and responsive maintenance for our customers.
Our team uses the PL543 Cat Product LinkTM Hardware to monitor hours, location, fuel, fault codes and more. It allows us to identify issues early, providing accurate fault codes and descriptions so our service engineers are equipped to resolve issues before their arrival on site.
Service Manager Tony Gadsby says, “We get a fault code related to a part in question, and the type of fault that is occurring. We can liaise with Finning to get the right parts to the right place at the right time.”

Agg-Pro and Finning have had a strong relationship for many years and the use of Cat® Connectivity makes it an even more efficient relationship, allowing us to maximise the efficiency of our customers' machines.
Upon receiving a fault code, our service team can quickly dispatch an engineer, or to contact a Finning engineer for a same-day or next day response time.
CAT ® Connectivity in the GIPO P131 Impact Crusher
A vast number of machines we work with feature Caterpillar engines, including the GIPO P131 Impact Crusher.
The P131 features a CAT C13 engine (440Hp) and can produce up to 500TPH. Cat Product LinkTM allows us to monitor the P131's engine performance, run hours, load factors, fuel, and fault codes.
Upon receiving a low, medium or high severity support code, an Agg-Pro service engineer will be able to determine what the fault is, where it is coming from and what parts will be required for a first fix.
We have been working with GIPO for many years and we stock a large range of parts and spares, so that we can take the necessary parts with us on a fast turnaround, minimising downtime.
